I'm sure that like me, most of you have been affected by the downturn in the economy. People are losing jobs, homes, vehicles, families and in some cases, even their sanity! Some people have even given up hope that their situation will ever get better.
Let me share my personal story. Last year I got laid off from a job where I was earning an annual salary of 50K working part-time. When I got laid off I didn't know how to function. Unemployment was not nearly enough to cover my vehicle payment let alone a $1,400 monthly mortgage payment. My 401k was depleted in two months time.
I was slapped with the reality that I was broke! Not only was I broke I was frustrated from making the daily grind to seek employment only to come up empty handed. Although I had worked in the casino industry for the past fourteen years I couldn't find a job ANYWHERE, everywhere I applied was also laying off. With each passing month I was getting further and further behind in bills, my bank accounts were in the negative because I was practically surviving off of overdrafts, but I never gave up my faith in God. After six months and I still hadn’t found a job, I decided to go back to school and take the quickest course available so that when I got my certification I would be ready to get back to work.
I finished my course in March and passed the state board exam. I was officially ready to reenter the workforce in a new career field! Eight months after being out of work I received my first job offer. It was a part-time federal position that payed very well but I was only getting 24 hrs a week which I realized still wouldn't make a dent in my debts but it was a start. That same week I received a second job offer working in the medical field for a position in which I had recently trained, but I still had a mountain of debt. I was facing foreclosure on my home, my vehicle was about to be repossessed and those bank accounts that I was surviving off the overdrafts were closed! Things were not looking good but I still managed to run my business while working two jobs.
I had to make some changes in my life. I let go and let God handle it. I was obedient and followed His instructions that He was giving me all along, I just wasn't listening. In a matter of thirty days I turned my negative financial history into a positive. I'm not homeless, my payments are all caught up, and I didn't have to downsize ANYTHING! My part-time job turned into full-time and I still work in the medical field where I am able to set my own hours. I owe all my blessings to God! Everything I am is because of Him.
This experience has taught me many things and I want to reach out to those individuals who may be at the point of giving up hope. Don't ever lose your faith. I don't care what you might be going through. All things are possible through the glory of God!

1) How to Enter: Submit your entry by sending your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address to pinkkisspublishing@pinkkisspublishing.com or glendawallace@pinkkisspublishing.com
2) Conditions: You may donate to the program as often as you like but you may only submit one entry per person into the program. (Each member of you household is eligible to register for program)
3) Affiliates of Pink Kiss Publishing it's owners, and/or family members are not eligible to enter program.
4) Only one winner per household per promotion period.
5) Winners will be drawn during live broadcast of "The G-Spot!" on blog talk radio each Wednesday during the months of November and December. Prizes will be randomly selected prior to winners being drawn. Winner's names will be announced on the show and will receive notification by phone and follow up email. You do not have to be present to win.
6) Prizes will include monetary gifts/ gift cards of any value to be determined (depending on donations collected) to help pay expenses of automobile payments, mortgage payments, utilities, gas cards, etc.
